Cyclosportives have grown enormously in popularity over the past few years.
Consequently a number of experienced organisers have co-operated to set up the Independent Association of Cyclosportive Organisers (IACO) with a view to establishing a benchmark for excellence.
The IACO is working to advise on the developing standards of Cyclosportives.
Members of the IACO will contribute to these standards

With an increase in the number of leisure and charity rides of all shapes and sizes, Sportive Organisers and Riders need to know
that events listed on this site are Cyclosportives.
The IACO also intend to develop an IACO Series, the primary aim of which
wil be to raise money for deserving causes and reward those individuals and clubs who contribute most as entrants to cyclosportives during the season
Any organiser wishing to join IACO should submit their application for consideration
